Byron Rides – Deposit Policy

At Byron Rides, we aim to make booking simple, secure, and fair for both our customers and our team. This deposit policy applies to all bookings made through our service.

Deposit Requirements

• A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required for all bookings over $250 made more than 14 days in advance.

• A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required for all bookings over $250 made within 14 days of the service date.

• Bookings under $250 must be paid in full at the time of booking.

Payment Terms

• Deposits are payable at the time of booking to secure your reservation.

• The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 7 days prior to the service date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Cancellations and Refunds

• Deposits are strictly non-refundable, except where required under Australian Consumer Law.

• If you cancel more than 14 days before your booking, your deposit will be forfeited but no further charges apply.

• If you cancel within 14 days of your booking, your deposit will be forfeited and you may be liable for up to 100% of the remaining balance, depending on costs already incurred.

Changes to Bookings

• Requests to reschedule will be considered subject to availability.

• Deposits may be transferred to a new booking date if agreed by Byron Rides, but only once per booking.

Cleaning and Damage Fees

• A cleaning fee may apply if the vehicle is returned in an unacceptable condition.

• Additional charges may apply for damage, loss, or extra services not included in the original booking.

Governing Law

• All bookings and deposits are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
