1. General

By booking with Byron Rides, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These Terms apply to all bookings, whether made online, by phone, or in person.

All bookings, payments, and services are subject to the laws of the State of New South Wales, Australia.

2. Bookings and Payment

  • All bookings must be confirmed by Byron Rides in writing (email or SMS confirmation).
  • Payment methods accepted include credit card, debit card, and direct transfer.

Deposits and Fees

  • For bookings valued over $250 made more than 14 days (2 weeks) in advance, a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total booking fee is required at the time of booking.
  • For bookings valued over $250 made less than 14 days (2 weeks) in advance, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total booking fee is required at the time of booking.
  • Bookings under $250 require full payment at the time of booking.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Deposits are strictly non-refundable.
  • If you cancel within 48 hours of the scheduled service, the full booking fee will be charged.
  • Byron Rides reserves the right to cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances (such as vehicle breakdown, extreme weather, or safety concerns). In such cases, any deposit or payment will be refunded in full.

4. Cleaning and Damage Fees

  • Passengers are expected to treat vehicles with respect.
  • A cleaning fee will be charged if vehicles are returned or left in an excessively dirty condition, including but not limited to spills, stains, or odours.
  • Any damage caused to the vehicle or its fittings by passengers will result in the customer being held liable for the cost of repairs, in addition to the cleaning fee.
  • The Cleaning fee may include a lost revenue fee from same day, or next day cancellations due to the damage incurred.

5. Passenger Responsibilities

  • Passengers must comply with all lawful instructions from the driver.
  • Consumption of alcohol is permitted only where legally allowed and with prior agreement from Byron Rides.
  • Illegal substances are strictly prohibited.
  • Seatbelts must be worn at all times where fitted.

6. Liability

  • Byron Rides is not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, or other circumstances beyond its control.
  • Byron Rides is not responsible for loss or damage to personal property brought into the vehicle.

7. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New South Wales, Australia.
